The State Superintendent of Public Instruction is responsible for all of the educational districts in Idaho. She will make decisions regarding budgets, curriculum, and K-12 educational issues. The State Superintendent is responsible for addressing concerns in K-12 education to state officials. She is not directly responsible for implementing a budget for Idaho’s system of education. However, the Superintendent does create an ideal budget to advocate to legislators.
