Candidate Jana Jones comes to us with 40 years of educational experience. In 1989, Jones joined the State Department of Education in the Bureau of Special Education, and has a history of advocating for early education programs across the state. She has held many other positions: principal, director of special education, district superintendent, and chief deputy superintendent of public instruction. 

 

Jones's educational background consists of a B.S. in Special Education, and an M.Ed. in Special Education from Utah State University, and an Ed. D in Educational Leadership from Idaho State University.
